Summary

Many drinking games require copious amounts of skill or memorization of laws and rules. You’ll need none of that to play the drinking game Snap. This game is fun due to its simplicity and the fact that you get to drink when you play it.

Equipment

Good People, good beer, and a deck of cards

Setup

Players sit around a table.

Game Play

Pick someone to be the dealer. Don’t worry, you’ll switch later.

Shuffle the cards.

Take a card off the top of the deck and lay it on the table. Call out the value of the card.

Continue laying out cards and calling.

Slap your hand down on the deck if two cards of the same value are called. For example, if an Ace of Spades and Ace of Diamonds are called consecutively or a Three of Clubs and a Three of Hearts are played.

Make someone else drink if you are the first to have your hand down. You can choose anyone except the dealer and force them to drink as many drinks as the value of the card. For example, if you slap a five, then make someone take five drinks.

Choose a new dealer. Make the person who just drank or the person who slapped the card the new dealer.
