Strip Texas Hold’em

By J Boss

Summary

Just like regular Texas Hold ‘em but involving drinking and the removal of clothing

Equipment

Deck of cards, shot glasses, and max 6 articles of clothes each (jewelery, hair bows, watches or bands do not count)

Game Play

Prerequisite: Be familiar with the rules and betting of regular Texas Hold ‘em before playing this because we won’t go into that kind of detail.

Instead of poker chips, players take a shot for the big blind.   No small blind required.  Once the big blind shot is taken, the person to his/her left takes a shot to remain in the hand.  This action continues around the table until all players are either in (taken a shot) or have chosen to fold.  After the first round of shots, the big blind has the option to raise the bet with an article of clothing or check.  This action continues around the table until all players have either matched the clothing bet or have chosen to fold.  The articles of clothing that were wagered go into the pot in the middle of the table.

Deal the “Flop” (first three cards face up on the table).  The first person to act either checks or bets an article of clothing, followed by the person to his/her left to call the bet or raise the bet. This continues until the “Turn” (fourth) and “River” (fifth) cards are displayed and the final bet has been called. At this point all players who have wagered clothing place them into the pot.  The hand is won with the best hand.

If you lose all your clothes you can:

  • Quit and grab a towel while you sit around and wait for the rest to lose
  • Earn your clothes back by performing a dare for each article of clothes you want.
  • Continue to play nude and wager a shot instead of clothes during game play.

During the hands there will be no foreign objects worn to cover (example; wagered articles, pillows, and HANDS)  If you are sitting at the table to play then there should be no reason to be shy. This includes the person or person who lost and are standing at the table (CANNOT COVER UP).
