The term “Super Bowl” is actually a trademarked name, so here is a list of drinking game rules for a great Football Championship Game. But first, pick a team you want to root (drink) for.
2010 Additions
Drink whenever:
- A Peyton Manning commercial comes on.
- A “Who Dat” sign is shown or the announcers mention it
- Peyton Manning or Drew Brees are compared to any great past QB like Joe Montana
- Drink twice if they are ever compared to Brett Farve
- Hurricane Katrina is mentioned
- The camera shows Peyton Manning on the bench analyzing the most recent play on paper
- An announcer talks about breaking a record
- Manning or Brees break a passing record
- Kim Kardashian is mentioned or shown
Standard Rules
Drink whenever:
- Your opposing team gets a first down
- Your team throws an interception or commits a fumble (+2)
- A point scored against your team (per point)
- Your QB gets sacked
- Your team gets a safety against (+10)
- Drink for all penalty yards against your team (per yard)
- A commercial looks like it is going to be good, but ends up being lame
- A commercial is actually good - “celebratory drink”
- The Janet/Justin boob-slip is brought up.
- You come back from the bathroom
- You come back from the bathroom and someone is in your seat (+5 for being too slow)
